Seems like a long time ago that I wrote my last post, but not really. We have been out of phone range since then.
After five glorious days at the outer reef we are now anchored at Stonehaven on Hook Island, near Hayman Island and its’ snorkelling mecca Blue Pearl Bay.
After arriving at Gloucester Passage (my last post) we moved on to Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island for an over-nighter, then to the outer reef – Bait Reef and then further on to Hardy Lagoon.
The forecast was perfect, little wind. The outer reef at last!
First up … some great snorkelling at Blue Pearl Bay …
Fish were abundant. The tourist boats do encourage the fish with feeding time so they are quite tame.

Loved the clams. So many colours and so much detail in those colours.
