my underwater world … part two

By | October 20, 2018

I hope I haven’t bored my readers with this endless collection of underwater snaps yet?!

We are venturing out to the southern section of the Great Barrier Reef very early this morning.  Maybe more underwater photos that even “gazump” this collection? There will be no phone reception out there so my next post will be in the Fraser Island area. We are travelling with another cat Take It Easy and hope to complete our reef adventure by meeting up with our friends Terry and Barb on Whiskers at Lady Musgrave Island.  Whiskers has just returned from New Cal’ and Vanuatu.

These photos were all taken at the Monkey Beach reef over the last two days.

If you have been following my blog you will know how much I love these little fish … how happy was I to find a small colony of them today …

I’ve grouped these photos because of each species’ camouflage characteristics … and they keep still!

Chasing the Angelfish …

And finally …

Hi Juliana! The snorkeling at Monkey was great. As you say, the water so clear at the right tide. We’ve just got to the Burnett River today so back in communication. Had a fantastic time out at the coral cays. More to come! A
