Hinchinbrook Island is such a majestic island with its misty high peaks. It’s our largest island national park and known for its lush rainforest, long sandy beaches and mangrove filled channel. And for Zoe Bay!
We spent a few days with Aqualibrium in Gayundah Creek in the Hichinbrook channel and lucked it with some calm weather which meant we could visit Zoe Bay on the eastern side of the island. Zoe Bay is exposed to the ocean and swell so it is a very much calm weather anchorage. We visited Zoe Bay in 1987 so it was on our list of ‘must do’s’ in this area.
The many moods of Hinchinbrook were a highlight. I’ve tried to capture these with my new camera.
You captured the mood “calm” beautifully
