You would be forgiven for thinking I am in costume! Unfortunately this is a costume that every fibreglass boat builder wears from time to time. It’s also the one that doesn’t appear in the article telling you what a fabulous experience building your own boat is! Never mind, it was taken just after I trimmed all the internal doorways out to frame size.
The hot water system is now in place and hooked up to the starboard pressure pump. The Lewmar linear drive arrived and was clearly bigger than I was expecting so I will have to modify the shelf it will sit on next to the port steering quadrant. ( yes I did have dimensions but took little notice of height!)
Tomorrow is clean up day, rather timely considering the amount of dust that was created today, and as a special treat I will put some filters and pipework on the starboard motor (I do love fitting ‘shiney bits’).
