Bossa Nova crossed the Lakes Entrance bar at 11.45 am today. Excitement and nerves all rolled in to one. With crew on board – Steve and John – we have headed for Sydney. Making 6.5 – 7 knots with main and jib.

We were lucky enough to pick up a mooring in Stonehaven on Hook Island yesterday lunchtime before the school holiday ‘crowds’ swamped the anchorage.
